About Leontyne
I am a mother, grandmother and retired federal employee. I have a Master's degree in teaching, certified to teach 6th-9th grade science. I have lived and worked overseas, so I bring a global flair to my instruction. I also speak French.

All students are unique and they learn differently. I prefer to initially assess their learning style so that our sessions are more productive. I allow students to be an integral part of their learning process, which means I am open to hear and implement their feedback in order to ensure that true learning takes place. I tutor elementary and middle school science and 9th grade biology.
