About Natalie
¡Hola! Me llamo Natalie. As somebody who has taught 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Spanish, I have the experience, skillset, and understanding to provide you with engaging and fun Spanish lessons. I graduated from SUNY Geneseo after studying Spanish Education and living in Oviedo, Spain for 4.5 months, but my love of the language started much earlier. From the time I was five years old, I was in Spanish classes and loving every minute of it. I would be honored and excited to join you on your path to fluency!

Language is like legos- every colorful little piece you learn adds up quickly, and putting it all together ends up being lots of fun! From absoring new vocab throught games & songs to learning about culture (did you know - Spain has a llama race AND a city-wide tomato food fight?!), I know I can not only help your Spanish skills soar, but help you have fun while you're learning, too! But how can you be sure I'm the right teacher for the job? Living in Oviedo, Spain for four months (with a Spanish family that ONLY knew the English phrase "Nice to meet you") changed my life- I was immersed in one of the most beautiful languages in the world- when I wasn't salsa dancing or eating churros. Even though I'm stateside now, I still love listening to Spanish music, reading in Spanish (Harry Potter y la Piedra Filosofal), and teaching eighty of the sweetest students how much there is to love about knowing a second language.
