About Robin

With over 5 years of formal classroom experience teaching all levels of Spanish, I have experience working with middle school, high school, and university students, and I was recognized as a "Commended Teacher of the Humanities" by the organization Humanities Texas for the year 2020.

Having lived abroad in three geographically and culturally diverse regions of the Spanish-speaking world--Chile, Mexico, and Spain--I have an understanding of the rich cultural underpinnings of the Spanish language and of the relationship between language and culture.

Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, since I remember what it was like to start from almost zero Spanish knowledge in middle school and work my way up to fluency, I am uniquely prepared to help you overcome any roadblocks and plateaus that may arise in your language-learning journey.

About the lesson

Hi there! My name is Robin, and I am a certified Spanish teacher passionate about meeting you where you are and helping you grow in your language proficiency. I can help you gain confidence in your Spanish while you develop or improve your conversational skills and reading/writing skills.

During our first meeting, we will discuss your goals and desired outcomes for tutoring. Lessons from that point on will be tailored to uniquely fit YOUR own personal needs and goals!

Certified K-12 Spanish teacher and former university-level Spanish instructor able to work with beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish learners.
