Drew on interpersonal leadership skills to manage a team of 24 counselors and over 350 campers at YMCA Camp Chief Hector. I base my teaching on student knowledge, interest, and ability. I work with students to find strategies that suit them and their own personal interest so as to keep them engaged and excited while they learn. I focus not only on having student achieve certain academic outcomes but also on getting to know the student and developing a relationship with them.
