About Stephanie
I am a certified K–6 teacher and U.S. Army veteran with over a decade of experience in education. I hold a B.S. in Elementary Education, an M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, and I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Education degree at Liberty University. My experience includes teaching in both public and private schools, serving as an instructional leader, and working as a Professional Learning Specialist with Amplify Literacy, where I trained teachers in evidence-based reading practices. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where every student feels empowered to take risks, develop strong literacy skills, and discover their unique voice as a learner.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building strong foundations in reading and writing through engaging, evidence-based instruction. I use explicit modeling, guided practice, and real-world connections to boost comprehension and confidence. Each session includes goal setting, targeted skill practice, and reflection. As a certified K–6 teacher, doctoral education specialist, and Army veteran, I bring structure, patience, and encouragement to every lesson. My sessions are ideal for elementary and middle school students who need intervention, enrichment, or support in literacy development.
