About Victoria
Learning isn't over when a student leaves class. As a lifelong learner, I encourage students to achieve their full potential as scholars and as citizens both inside and outside the classroom. I am very flexible and will slow down or speed up my instruction as each student sees fit. If I am teaching a student who has a regular teacher, I will identify the area(s) of struggle and adjust my instruction to match the needs of the individual student in that class.

I often open class with a get-to-know-you question in French that students can easily answer. Then, I review prior knowledge students know so that they are set up for success in the lesson. My lessons can include any of the following: listening comprehension from authentic sources, reading comprehension, "skits", idiomatic expressions, speaking practice, copying vocab/grammatical concepts, or reviewing what the learner's teacher has assigned.
