About Mónica Menéndez
I'm Spanish, although I've lived in different places during my life. I spent my childhood in Asturias, my youth on the Costa del Sol, studied for a while in Germany and lived in the Persian Gulf for 5 years. Now I live in Mijas, in the province of Malaga, on the south coast of Spain.
I love to travel, play sports, discover new places and meet people from all over the world. I have also studied other languages, so I know very well what it means to learn a new language and the difficulties involved.

My mother tongue is Spanish, but I speak English and German fluently, so I can explain complex questions to you in one of these two languages if necessary.
I studied electrical engineering and music, and am currently studying pedagogy with a focus on learning difficulties. I am a certified teacher of Spanish as a foreign language and have been teaching Spanish to both children and adults for many years.
My classes are flexible, adapted to the level and needs of the student. I work with a variety of materials such as books, index cards, games, online apps and multimedia material. Practice is very important to me, so we'll talk a lot from the beginning! We will work on vocabulary, grammar, listening and reading comprehension and apply everything we have learned to real situations. Come on, what are you waiting for?
