About Austin
I am passionate about helping students grow academically and build confidence in their abilities. I understand that every child learns differently, and I take pride in creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs.
My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them feel encouraged, capable, and successful. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing confidence in their skills.

I am committed to helping students make meaningful progress while making learning a positive experience. My approach to tutoring is centered around building confidence, creating a positive learning environment, and meeting each student at their individual level. As a certified K–6 teacher, I believe children learn best when lessons are engaging, encouraging, and tailored to their unique strengths and challenges. I use a combination of hands-on activities, guided practice, visual learning tools, and repetition to help students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorize them.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous skills and identifying any areas of struggle. From there, I introduce or reinforce concepts through interactive instruction, practice activities, games, or real-life examples. I always include time for independent practice and positive feedback so students leave feeling successful and motivated. I strive to create a calm and supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
My tutoring services are designed for elementary students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. I offer support in reading, writing, math, homework help, study skills, and summer academic enrichment. Lessons can be adapted for students needing extra support, students wanting to stay ahead over the summer, or children who benefit from one-on-one instruction.
