About Antonio
Hello! My name is Antonio and I would be thrilled to become your new French teacher. I was born in the south of Spain, where I attended a British School in my early years. I then pursued my education in the U.K. before moving to France, where I completed high school and my university studies. I currently have a Master's degree in Architecture. During my student years in Paris, I also studied piano and lyrical singing. Opera opened for me the door towards being a polyglot. Besides a solid base in German, I got to live in Italy for a long time, thus acquiring the Italian language. I currently live in El Cairo, Egypt, where I am learning Arabic.
Languages are an excellent way to open doors and discover pathways that lead to unexpected professional opportunities, new cultures and adventures, deeper spiritual experiences and overall a richer life. This is why as much as I am a teacher, I am also a lifelong student (Arabic and Chinese at the moment) and thanks to it, a traveller!
I started teaching languages midway through my university studies and have pursued it ever since. I have taught in very different contexts helping people to prepare for official exams, job interviews, leisure trips, Erasmus… I would be totally qualified to teach you French in either English, Spanish or Italian.
Lessons and programs are tailored in order to meet your goals and expectations. My multidisciplinary profile allows me to enrich my content with artistic and scientific insights.
I am passionate and kind, creative, methodical and very patient. I am flexible with multiple resources and will adapt my teaching methods to fit you best. I wish to deliver the most professional yet encouraging experience possible.
I have a thorough understanding of languages and the culture surrounding them. I can therefore teach at different degrees of formality and speech. Whereas I teach at a colloquial (yet appropriate) register to some of my students, some others are more interested in working on a more academic or professional register. Some even ask me about more philological aspects of the language.

My lessons take place in an interactive manner. By constantly participating, the student memorizes and assimilates the concepts better. As learning is not only an intellectual exercise but a journey, I tend to coach my students, keeping up their motivation and ambition.
With beginners, we will work on several everyday life situations so that you can start to express yourself as soon as possible. With advanced level students, we will work on complex structures. We will focus on the registers of speech and the stylistic figures.
Short assignments will be given as homework. I strongly recommend students to book several hours per week in order to keep a rhythm. This allows me to fully coach their progress.

Hi, this is just to let everyone know how satisfatory has been my experience with Antonio, and the useful help he has provided.
