About Kefeng
I bring a unique blend of teaching experience and academic expertise to my role as a tutor. My journey began in high school, where I taught Chinese to international students at an international school, fostering my passion for language education. During study at UCL, I continued teaching through cultural exchange programmes and Chinese student associations, helping learners of all levels improve their language skills. Now, as a PhD student at University of York, I wish to continue with practical teaching experience to deliver high-quality, results-driven lessons. Additionally, my background as an international debate champion—serving as UCL Debate Team Captain and Vice President of the North American Mandarin Debate Association—has honed my communication, critical thinking, and teaching skills. These experiences have shaped my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and engage students effectively.
