As a teacher, I aim to motivate students, and engagement is a key factor to motivation. Through dynamic student-centered interactive lessons this can be accomplished through gamification, technology, and manipulatives. I believe that developing critical thinking skills is an important concept to understand to be an independent thinker. Instead of instructing explicitly, I serve more as a guide and answer their questions in a way that promoted critical thinking and problem solving skills.
