About Tom
Hi!
i'm a recent chemical engineering graduate completing my MEng with a first class. Whilst completing my degree, I spent a placement year working as an engineer in the pharmaceutical industry for Pfizer, and will soon be joining an engineering consultancy as process engineer.

I feel the best way to learn maths and science is to understand the concepts rather than simply memorising, as you don't have to remember how to answer each question if you understand the problem. I therefore ensure the fundamentals of each concept are fully explained.
Having spent a year working in industry, I am able to relate theory to practical real world applications which I feel helps concepts stick better and also make the subjects more interesting and accessible.
I understand each person learns at their own rate and I hope my kind and patient teaching style will encourage students of all levels.
