About Alice
I’m a passionate Science and Maths tutor and a Teach First trainee science teacher. I've always loved Science and Maths and enjoy helping students discover that these subjects can be interesting. I understand that not everyone finds these subjects easy, so I aim to explain concepts clearly, help to build confidence and make lessons engaging. Whether the goal is to improve understanding, pass an exam or achieve the highest grades, I'll help you understand exactly what you need to know and how to apply it successfully.

I tailor every lesson to the student's or parent's goals, whether that's building confidence, understanding difficult concepts or preparing for exams. I usually begin with a short recap or quiz to identify strengths and areas to focus on, then use guided and independent practice to monitor progress throughout the lesson. Lessons are typically 60 minutes. I have experience developing GCSE and A-level Maths resources for an online revision platform and I am currently training to become a qualified teacher. I offer tutoring for KS3, GCSE (Combined and Triple Science, Maths) and A-level Chemistry, with every lesson adapted to the student's exam board and individual needs.
