About Gia-Han
I have always been involved in teaching ESL in recently immigrated youth. My passion for teaching led to me studying educational studies as a minor at university, in addition to my Bachelor's in Chemistry/Biology and experience in research.
I just took the MCAT and would love to offer my experience and help to anyone interested in similar fields. I am a postgrad and aspiring physician hoping to stay involved in education and helping any students struggling in a traditional learning setting.

Some call me an overexplainer, but that is simply my style. I don't like to assume a student's understanding of anything unless explicitly stated because all student learn differently and what works for one, might not work for all!
I am incredibly communicative and like to use an IPad and practice question while tutoring, while giving the student space to apply a concept or equation to a new problem--once comfortable of course!
I also a a firm believer that there is always a level of strategy that contributes doing well on any tests and most importantly, performing both well and efficiently (AKA studying smart). In addition to conceptual explanations, I like to give hints and tips about how to learn science effectively.
