About Sloane
My journey in Chemistry began with a strong interest in understanding how substances interact and change in different conditions. I completed my Bachelor’s in Chemistry, which provided me with a solid foundation in chemical principles and reactions. Over the past 5 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them understand complex topics through clear explanations and structured teaching methods that focus on building confidence.
I believe that learning Chemistry should feel approachable and manageable for every student. My teaching style focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into smaller steps and using examples that make learning easier to understand. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their doubts without hesitation. This helps them build confidence, improve understanding, and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
Outside of teaching, I stay connected to Chemistry by reading about new developments and exploring practical applications of the subject. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching Chemistry is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to clarity, and I enjoy helping them build confidence and a deeper understanding of the subject.

Chemistry becomes clearer when students understand how different concepts are connected and how they apply to real-life situations. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as chemical bonding, reactions, acids and bases, and equilibrium, explaining each idea in a simple and structured way. I break down complex topics into smaller parts so students can follow step by step without feeling overwhelmed. By using clear explanations and relatable examples, I help students build a strong conceptual understanding and improve their confidence in the subject.
Each lesson is designed according to the student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners focus on understanding basic concepts with simple explanations and visual support. Intermediate learners work on applying concepts to solve problems and improve accuracy. Advanced students focus on deeper understanding, numerical problem solving, and exam preparation strategies. Every session includes practice questions, guided solutions, and feedback to ensure steady and continuous improvement.
Chemistry also helps students develop logical thinking and attention to detail. As they begin to understand patterns in reactions and calculations, they approach problems with more clarity and confidence. This growth supports both academic success and overall analytical ability. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, engaging, and meaningful, helping students build confidence and develop a strong understanding of the subject.
