I've known Aaron for many years since we were in a chemistry Ph.D. program. When I encountered complex problems during experiments, he provided me with helpful guidance in detail. Aaron was my organic chemistry mentor in college. He was wonderful. He was very patient with me even if it took me several times to grasp a concept. He does a great job balancing being stern enough to keep you focused and using time together efficiently but he is never mean or too forceful. He is incredibly smart and knowledgable but he stands out because you can tell he really cares about you succeeding. He has a funny sarcastic sense humor that helped keep things light when I felt frustrated or overwhelmed.

I highly recommend Aaron for Organic Chemistry. He helped me throughout O Chem 1 and 2 and motivated me to learn more beyond these courses, which led me to work with him doing organometallic synthesis during University. He is very knowledgeable in the field and patient at explaining concepts.

Aaron draws on a rich background of research in organometallic chemistry and catalysis, and has years of experience as a chemistry teaching assistant at San Diego State.
