About Michelle
I am currently a graduate chemistry student at UC Berkeley and received my bachelor's and master's from UCLA cum laude with a 3.9 GPA. I demonstrate a strong mastery of chemistry and other sciences, shown through my academics and past research.
Beyond school, I am passionate about helping others succeed in STEM. Like those who have helped me before, I believe that science is accessible to all and that a good foundation and understanding of the principles makes learning much smoother. I have gained a lot of experience tutoring and I am confident that I can help you towards success that will reflect in your academics.

My teaching methods include assessing where the student is and then a tailored lesson plan around that. This would consist of an initial assessment as well as small continuous assessments over time. A lesson plan would include a specific amount of time spent on each concept as well as small quizzes in between. As for what sets me apart: I currently work as a TA at UC Berkeley and have privately tutored before. I have learned various research-based pedagogical methods and have experience creating lectures and answering student questions. My lessons are for anyone interested in chemistry courses up to the graduate level and lessons will be specific to students.
