About Callie
My fascination with chemistry began early, inspired by the elegant interplay of molecules and the transformative power of chemical reactions. I earned a B.Sc in Chemistry followed by an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, gaining expertise in reaction mechanisms, analytical techniques, and laboratory experimentation. Over 11 years, I have guided students of varying backgrounds to build foundational knowledge, refine practical skills, and develop confidence in tackling challenging concepts.
I teach with patience, clarity, and personalized guidance, focusing on conceptual understanding, hands-on practice, and problem-solving. Lessons are carefully structured to combine theoretical explanations, illustrative examples, and applied exercises, helping students connect abstract principles to real-world chemistry. I emphasize curiosity, experimentation, and critical thinking, empowering learners to explore topics beyond the classroom confidently.
Outside teaching, I remain engaged with research, laboratory projects, and scientific literature, integrating contemporary findings into lessons.
