About Kian
My interest in Chemistry began with a fascination for understanding how substances change and react. This led me to pursue a PhD in Chemistry, where I developed deep knowledge of chemical processes and analysis. Over the past 13 years, I have helped students understand Chemistry through clear explanations and structured lessons. Teaching allows me to share my passion while guiding learners towards confidence and success.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I understand that Chemistry can feel challenging, so I explain concepts step by step using simple language and examples. I encourage students to ask questions and explore ideas so they can develop confidence in their understanding. I believe that when students feel supported, they learn more effectively and enjoy the subject.
I continue learning about new developments in Chemistry and improving my teaching methods. Watching students move from confusion to confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Many learners begin with difficulty but gradually develop strong understanding and interest. Helping them achieve this transformation and build confidence in their abilities motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Chemistry becomes easier when students understand the logic behind reactions instead of memorising them. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, reactions, and equations using simple and clear explanations. I break down each concept into smaller parts so students can understand step by step. Real-life examples are used to show how Chemistry applies to everyday situations, making the subject more relatable and easier to remember. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas without fear.
Lessons are structured according to the student’s level and learning pace. Beginners focus on understanding elements, compounds, and simple reactions. Intermediate learners work on balancing equations, bonding concepts, and solving numerical problems. Advanced students focus on deeper concepts, complex problem-solving, and exam preparation strategies. I provide regular practice and guide students step by step so they can improve their accuracy and understanding. Feedback is given clearly to help them learn from mistakes.
As students improve, they begin to see Chemistry as a logical and interesting subject rather than a difficult one. Many learners gain confidence as they learn to solve problems independently and explain concepts clearly. This growth helps them develop analytical thinking and curiosity about science. My goal is to make Chemistry simple, engaging, and understandable while helping students build strong confidence in their abilities.
