About Orielia
I am a PhD (Chemistry) graduate who is currently working as an innovation consultant. I am passionate about finding a viable solution for renewable energy storage as a means to resolve the energy poverty crisis in sub-Saharan Africa.
I have worked on several projects covering topics such as nanotechnology, cosmetic formulation, electrochemistry and electrocatalysis.
I have worked as a departmental and private tutor since my undergraduate studies. I also spent a year in China teaching English as a second language, and this really developed my love for teaching. I love engaging with different people, and if I can help them through various problems with tutoring, that is even better.

Lessons would typically be 1 hour, and would be held virtually. You can opt to do a 2h block per week. I could help work through homework, preparing for exams and explaining issues you might struggle with.
I prefer to go through the theory initially and see any gaps that might exist and then solidify your understanding before progressing.
As a chemistry PhD student I have several years of chemistry experience under my belt.
These lessons may be for primary school students (year 4) till undergraduate university level.
For post-graduate students, I am also happy to provide support regarding thesis writing and structure or proof-reading of reports.
