About Don
I started tutoring after my first semester of college as a method to retain lessons that I may stray from when advancing, yet still be of use. Over time tutoring became less of a method of reinforcing my knowledge, and more satisfaction of helping those in need of educational assistance by social methods. Students who come for help from me never fail they class, and almost none of them receive grades below a B. The number of students I have helped are quite large, my first tutoring job was a walk-in program where any student can come in for help at any time. Even with a large variety of subjects thrown at me, I manage to give my students an amazing experience.

Currently I give lessons to college students, but I will not limit myself to this demographic. I am more than capable to tutor high school and middle school students as well. My technique for instructing my students having issues with a subject is by attempting practice problems to identify where the problem is. After identifying the problem, I begin to explain with elementary versions of issue to develop a simple understanding and apply it to a more advanced topic. If students come to me with no knowledge at all (Ex: miss class), I begin to go over the sections provided in their books and answer any question while guiding them in right direction of thought.

Details
Studying is best as a group! I always support study groups and will have a discount for additional students studying the same subject as you at a given time. Every additional student increases the base rate by only $5.00! Ex: A 2 person study group would cost $20 total, 3 would be 25$ total, 4 would be 30$ total hourly.
