About Asha
I have 12 years of experience teaching Chemistry to students preparing for school examinations and science-focused academic pathways. I earned an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, which provided strong grounding in chemical measurement, molecular understanding, and laboratory applications. This academic background helps me teach chemistry with both depth and clarity.
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and focused on helping students truly understand chemical principles. I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simple explanations and guiding students through practice step by step. I create an environment where learners feel encouraged and capable.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with chemistry through scientific reading, interest in environmental chemistry, and exploring modern research developments. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because students often shift from confusion to confidence. Supporting that transformation motivates my work.

Chemistry becomes exciting when students begin to see it as the science of transformation and structure rather than a subject of memorisation. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic theory, bonding, chemical reactions, acids and bases, organic chemistry, and laboratory reasoning with clear explanation and supportive practice. I focus on helping students understand why chemical processes happen, so learning feels logical and connected.
Lessons are tailored to each learner’s stage. Beginners build foundations in periodic trends, basic formulae, and simple reaction understanding. Intermediate learners strengthen balancing equations, mole calculations, bonding analysis, and exam-style problem solving. Advanced students focus on organic mechanisms, equilibrium, thermodynamics, and structured scientific writing. Each class includes practice tasks and detailed feedback to ensure improvement.
Chemistry lessons help students develop confidence in scientific thinking and problem solving. Over time, learners become more comfortable applying concepts rather than memorising facts. My goal is to help students succeed academically while discovering the beauty and logic of chemistry.
