About Elle
I am a chemistry tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a B.Sc in Chemical Sciences. My academic training gave me a strong appreciation for the logical structure behind chemical systems and reactions. Over the years, I have guided students through foundational and intermediate topics by making chemistry feel structured, approachable, and meaningful. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, patience, and consistency. I take time to explain concepts thoroughly and adjust explanations based on how each learner thinks. I believe confidence grows when students understand the reasoning behind reactions and calculations, not just the final answer. I create a calm learning environment where learners feel supported and motivated to improve. Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through reading, practical applications, and continuous learning. This helps me bring fresh perspectives and real relevance into lessons. Chemistry becomes clearer when learners see it as a logical system rather than a collection of formulas. As students progress, we explore chemical equations, reaction types, mole concepts, and solution chemistry using step-by-step problem-solving methods. I encourage learners to think through each calculation and concept rather than memorizing shortcuts. Visual explanations, practice problems, and conceptual discussions help strengthen understanding and retention. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities, helping students build confidence and accuracy over time.
