About Jasmine
My interest in chemistry began with curiosity about molecular interactions and transformations. I pursued a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, gaining theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory experience. Over 8 years, I have helped students of varying abilities understand complex topics, guiding them with clarity, structured explanations, and practical examples that foster both competence and confidence. I teach with patience, adaptability, and clarity, emphasizing reasoning, conceptual understanding, and hands-on exercises. I encourage independent thinking, exploration, and curiosity, helping students develop both knowledge and confidence in their abilities. My approach focuses on understanding concepts deeply rather than rote memorization, ensuring long-term retention and analytical skill development. Outside the classroom, I actively engage with laboratory projects, research developments, and practical applications in chemistry, bringing real-world relevance into lessons. Watching students progress from uncertainty to mastery, building analytical skills, confidence, and curiosity, remains the most rewarding part of my teaching and inspires my continual dedication.

Lesson plans are adapted to each proficiency level. Beginners start with atomic structure, basic bonding, simple reactions, and laboratory safety to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners explore reaction mechanisms, kinetics, chemical equilibria, and analytical interpretation to enhance reasoning and application skills. Advanced learners engage with multi-step reactions, organic synthesis, advanced laboratory techniques, and exam-oriented problem-solving, consolidating deep understanding and practical application.
