About Amrita
My fascination with Chemistry began with an interest in how small particles create the world around us. That early curiosity inspired me to pursue advanced study and eventually a career in teaching, where I discovered how much joy comes from helping students grow. Over ten years of tutoring, I’ve developed a patient, warm, and structured approach that helps students feel genuinely understood. I work hard to create a comfortable environment where learners can ask questions freely and progress at a pace that feels right for them. Whether a student needs visual models, repeated practice, or gentle step-by-step explanation, I tailor my teaching to their needs. Seeing students gain confidence is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. Outside tutoring, I stay connected to science through continuous study and involvement in small research projects. These experiences help me bring relevant insight into lessons and keep my teaching fresh. Supporting students as they develop confidence, curiosity, and strong problem-solving skills is something I find truly fulfilling.

In my Chemistry lessons, I focus on helping students understand foundational concepts in a friendly, supportive way. We begin by clarifying ideas such as atomic structure, bonding, periodic trends, and simple reaction behavior. I use clear language and real-world examples to make the subject feel less overwhelming and more connected to everyday experiences.
As students strengthen their understanding, we explore deeper topics like stoichiometry, energy changes, acids and bases, and equilibrium. I guide learners through each concept with structured problem-solving steps, showing them how to interpret questions and apply concepts effectively. This helps students shift from memorizing facts to understanding the relationships that make Chemistry meaningful.
In advanced sessions, we focus on multi-step problems, exam readiness, and linking ideas across units. Students learn how to approach complex tasks calmly and confidently, using reasoning patterns we build together throughout the lessons. My goal is to help learners feel supported, capable, and motivated as they build a strong foundation in Chemistry.
