About Ruby

My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on clarity, practical applications, and problem-solving. I cover topics such as acid-base chemistry, pH calculations, titration, buffer solutions, and chemical equilibrium, helping students understand both theory and real-world applications. I work closely with students preparing for research projects and Olympiad contests, refining their understanding of chemical reactions and calculations. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s pace and learning style, ensuring they build confidence step by step. I emphasize practice and active problem-solving, so students can approach any calculation or experiment with ease. I aim to support students in excelling in exams, competitions, and research projects. By the end of our sessions, students gain not only knowledge but also confidence in chemical calculations and reasoning. Lessons are interactive, engaging, and focused on mastering fundamentals while exploring advanced topics. The goal is to make Chemistry approachable, enjoyable, and practical. Students leave each session with clearer understanding, stronger problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply chemistry concepts confidently in any context.

I am an experienced Chemistry tutor with over 9 years of teaching and a Master’s degree in Chemistry (MChem). My expertise lies in guiding students through atmospheric chemistry and environmental pollution, making these complex topics accessible and engaging. I help students understand processes like smog formation, ozone depletion, acid rain, and the impact of greenhouse gases.

I have worked extensively with environmental science students and those interested in air quality and climate policy. My approach combines clear explanations with practical examples from the real world. This allows students to see how chemical concepts directly influence environmental outcomes. I focus on building a solid understanding of chemical reactions and atmospheric processes.

Many of my students have successfully mastered difficult topics, improved their exam performance, and developed critical thinking skills. I enjoy creating lessons that are both informative and interactive, encouraging curiosity and questions. Atmospheric chemistry is fascinating, and understanding it empowers students to make a difference.

My goal is to inspire students to understand and protect the atmosphere. Learning Chemistry can be both exciting and meaningful, and I strive to make every lesson memorable.
