About Kusum

In my lessons, we take a calm and thoughtful approach to the deep theoretical foundations of chemistry. We focus on the mathematical principles that shape physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics. Step by step, we uncover the fundamental laws that govern how matter behaves and why chemical systems follow certain patterns. I aim to make complex ideas clear and accessible. Rather than memorizing formulas, students learn to see the logic behind them and how they connect to real chemical phenomena. I guide learners to develop their own understanding and approach, helping them tackle advanced concepts with confidence. Whether exploring spectroscopy, toxicology, or other specialized areas, my lessons provide support for mastering challenging topics. We reflect on the principles, ask questions, and explore each idea in depth. This method builds both clarity and confidence in problem-solving. Together, we move beyond surface-level knowledge and into a deeper appreciation of chemistry’s core principles. These lessons encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and a meaningful connection to the subject. It’s an invitation to discover a thoughtful, rewarding way to explore the essence of chemistry.

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Inorganic Chemistry. My passion lies in the fascinating field of food preservation chemistry and food analysis. I enjoy exploring the chemical changes that occur during food spoilage and the important roles of antioxidants and emulsifiers in keeping food fresh. In my lessons, we dive into the science behind preservation methods like canning, drying, and fermentation. I aim to help students understand how chemistry ensures food safety and maintains quality. By connecting theory with real-world examples, I make complex concepts both clear and engaging. My approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a hands-on understanding of chemical processes in food. Together, we examine how molecules interact to influence flavor, texture, and shelf life. I guide students to see the science behind everyday choices in food preparation and preservation. These lessons build not only knowledge but also confidence in applying chemistry practically. If you are eager to explore the chemistry that keeps our food safe, nutritious, and delicious, I invite you to join me on this exciting journey of discovery.
