About Tomás
I am a first-rate player, regional referee from Mendoza, Argentina. I have more than 15 years of experience as a competitive player and more than 5 years as a coach teaching at different institutions. I have many students, all very happy with my classes. I have made substitutions in local clubs such as Gimnasia y Esgrima and Norbridge School in Mendoza. I am also a professor at the Mendoza Regatta Club and the Carpe Diem Online Chess Academy.

The way I teach is based on the years of experience I had with different teachers and classmates. First of all I make a small diagnosis to the student to know what their goals and aspirations are, then I guide my classes through the most general aspects of chess where one learns to reason and not just memorize. I have the experience and the level to teach not only children but also federated players. My group classes are a combination of tactical exercises as a student task, teaching basic concepts with endings and reading different books.
