About Connor
I love chess. I started playing when I was just a kid, when my mom taught me how the pieces moved. Fast forward a few years, I took on chess as a hobby during my freshman year of high school and I was hooked ever since. My game went from getting checkmated every game to beating my coach regularly in just a couple of months -- I fell in love with the game from then on. Sharing this love with others and helping others to grow in their skill is something I am passionate about -- I hope that every student of mine is one day able to beat me!

My teaching style adapts to each student I work with because no chess player is exactly the same. I always start our meetings with a game to find a baseline and form a plan: What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player? Which part of your game do you want to improve upon first? How can we take your game to the next level?
I bring a personal experience to each student -- working to help each student reach their goals; whether that's winning more games, or just being able to beat your parents! If you're looking for a fun, relaxed, and personalized chess coach, I'm the coach for you.
