About Julie
I am a Writing Specialist who has been teaching students of all ages to become a proficient writer. My career over the past 32 years has given me the opportunity to teach several students. The subject to be taught is writing. Do you know that WRITING is linked to critical thinking? It covers areas of the entire school curriculum. Writing shows how a child shows what he or she knows and what has been learned. My style of writing is to facilitate, question and review. Students will interact by discussing each step as we cover the important parts of writing. I will be using a presentation, white board, video clip and discussion. I am considered a Highly Qualified Teacher who has a BS-MS in education, Writing Specialist, and Children's Author.

1 hr lessons = $15
Students can cancel any time up to 12 hours before the lesson start time for free, but any lessons cancelled within 12 hours of the start time can be charged at 50% of the total lesson fee after.
