About TEO

Hello! I’m Yi Ting, a Malaysian graduate of National Chiayi University in Taiwan, where I studied Chinese Language and Literature. I have experience teaching in tuition centers and conducting online lessons.

My interest in teaching comes from my love of Chinese language, literature, and storytelling. I want to help students understand what they read, express their ideas clearly, and feel more confident using Chinese.

I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. I also enjoy designing interactive materials to make learning more engaging and approachable.

About the lesson

I offer online Chinese lessons for primary and secondary school students, focusing on reading comprehension, vocabulary, composition and classical Chinese.

My lessons combine clear explanations, everyday examples, interactive slides and short activities. I adapt the pace and materials to each student's level and learning goals, encouraging students to ask questions and express their ideas.

I graduated in Chinese Language and Literature from National Chiayi University in Taiwan and have experience in tuition centres and online teaching. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, with time for guided practice, feedback and revision.
