A few months ago, we connected with Liz to learn some Cantonese in hopes speaking with my girlfriend's grandparents. Liz has been a warm, lively, and focused teacher, and her approach really kept us engaged during our week-night lessons. She taught formally with materials like decks and transcribed conversations, but also allowed conversation to organically guide what we were learning.

Picking up some Cantonese as an English speaker has been a fun challenge and every lesson with Liz made us feel excited and motivated about this little project we'd taken on.
