About Chris
I am a 17-year-old A-Level student currently studying maths, economics, and history. I have achieved 8 A*s/As at GCSE and got into every school when I did the 11+. My lessons are structured but relaxed: a quick recap, clear teaching, then timed practice so progress shows every week. I use CGP/Bond resources and past/consortium papers, and I share a short parent update after every session. Basic DBS; online lessons with an interactive whiteboard. Half-hour trial available—message me with your child’s goals and exam board/target schools.

I support pupils in Years 4–5 to prepare confidently for the 11+ through clear instruction, focused practice, and calm, effective exam technique. Each 60-minute lesson combines a brief review, targeted teaching, and timed questions so that progress is visible every week.
What you’ll receive
Initial mini-diagnostic (Lesson 1): pinpoints strengths and gaps
Tailored programme: Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning (VR) and Non-Verbal Reasoning (NVR)
Bite-size homework: with answer checks and model solutions
Exam strategies: “mark and move”, timing ladders, and elimination techniques
Quality resources: CGP, Bond, Schofield & Sims, plus past/consortium papers
Parent communication: a one-line summary after every lesson
First lesson (60 mins)
5–10 mins diagnostic sampler → 35 mins targeted teaching (e.g., ratios and VR codes) → 10–15 mins timed practice and feedback. Homework is set precisely for identified weak areas.
Safeguarding & logistics
Basic DBS held; a parent/guardian must be present in the home for online sessions. Lessons delivered via Zoom/Google Meet with an interactive whiteboard.
