About Elisa
Ciao a tutti! I'm Elisa and I was born on Lake Como, Italy. After getting my Bachelor's Degree in Arts at DAMS in Bologna, I spent a few years in Milan working as a TV writer for different production companies. When I moved to the States I started teaching Italian and I really enjoy seeing my students making progress and loving my language. I still write, plays and movies, and teaching is a great way to meet interesting and inspiring people. I also work as a dialogue coach on movie sets and I prepare actors for Italian speaking roles. Ciao a tutti! I'm Elisa and I was born on Lake Como, Italy (but no, I don't know George Clooney). I got my Bachelor's Degree in Arts at DAMS in Bologna and I moved to the States 15 years ago. I tailor my classes to the student's needs (I'm here for you!) I usually give a strong base of grammar but I also use games to improve vocab and conversation. In class we read short stories, easy articles and we practice situations (at the market, in hotel, at the pharmacy etc). I also have experience in preparing my students for the Italian citizenship test. I provide the textbook in PDF (included in my fee).
