About Taha

Hello, my name is Taha Ahmad, and I am a Civil Engineer with a strong background in mathematics and problem-solving. I graduated with a First Class BSc in Civil Engineering (CGPA 3.69) from UET Peshawar and currently work as a Reporting Engineer, where I apply advanced mathematical concepts in structural and material analysis every day. Over the past few years, I have gained valuable experience tutoring students at different levels, from secondary school (GCSE/IGCSE and A-levels) to university-level courses. My teaching style is clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I believe in breaking down complex topics into simple, logical steps while encouraging active participation and practice. My lessons typically last 60 minutes, during which I focus on building understanding, applying concepts to practical examples, and boosting exam confidence. I also provide personalised worksheets and past paper practice to strengthen learning. As both an engineer and an experienced tutor, I understand the challenges students face with maths. About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach I focus on making maths concepts clear, practical, and easy to apply. Drawing from my background as a Civil Engineer, I connect theory to real-world examples so students understand not just how to solve problems, but also why the methods work. Techniques and Methodology I break complex topics into simple steps using visuals, examples, and practice problems. I encourage students to ask questions and actively solve exercises during lessons. I use past exam papers and tailored worksheets to build confidence and track progress. My approach is flexible: I adjust my pace and style depending on each student’s needs. Lesson Structure and Length A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I also offer 90-minute sessions for in-depth exam preparation or topic revision. Each lesson includes a short recap, practice problems, and a summary for consolidation. Qualifications & Experience BSc Civil Engineering (First Class, CGPA 3.69) – UET Peshawar. Currently working as a Reporting Engineer, where I apply advanced maths in structural and material analysis. Over 3 years of informal tutoring for school and university-level students.
