About Veronique
After a high-level career in the world of finance in the City of London (for 20 years), I moved to South America where my husband and I opened a school over 5 years ago to help the children and teenagers of a disadvantaged neighborhood. Hundreds of students have been through our school, and some have been able to prepare for the Cambridge exams with me (from KET to CAE). The success rate is 100%.
Although French is my mother tongue, English is undoubtedly the language I speak and teach best.
I am a civil engineer and holder of a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Paris XI. In addition to English, I have taught maths, physics and chemistry courses at A-level for years, and given business management courses to adults at university (master's level).
After turning my back on the world of big business, I discovered that teaching was my vocation, less lucrative, but much more humanly rewarding!

I only use Cambridge methods (Complete, Compact...) because they are comprehensive, well structured and pleasant to work with. The classes mirror the demands of the majority of international exams and of using English in everyday life: Reading Comprehension, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
If the student is sufficiently motivated, we can prepare for the exams at the rate of one level per year, with a workload of 2 to 3 hours of lessons per week plus homework. Classes are online only. From 1 to 4 students maximum.
