About Yunis
I am a second year Civil and Structural Engineering student with an integrated masters course at the University of Newcastle. The reason I chose engineering was due to my passion for Maths and Physics. I have achieved A* In Maths throughout A level and iGCSE and A*/A in Chemistry and Physics throughout A level and iGCSE.
Maths is a subject which I am extremely passionate about. I am able to link different topics all into one lesson by showing you how connected Maths is. I like to figure these techniques out in my spare time and understand more and how deep the level of math truly goes.
In my free time I also love playing football, swimming and going to the gym. I have studied and sat exams both online and in person, helping me to gain a wider understanding and more experience with how teaching may feel to some students and how the change from in-person to online may have affected a lot of students in their ability to learn.

I teach by giving an understanding of the subject and with this, students will be able to tackle harder and more challenging questions with higher confidence. Due to COVID-19, teaching has been very different. However, I find it imperative that a high level of teaching is delivered, regardless of it being online or in-person. My methods and techniques will help save time in exams by minutes by answering a question which would normally take 6 minutes, only 1. It is one thing to know how to do a question, but another to understand it.
The length of my lessons would be around 1 hour. I have tutored before and helped A-level and GCSE students improve their skills and understanding, helping them to achieve their desired grade.
I am open to teach anyone from the ages of 11-18 at any level and help them improve and advance.
