About Nathan
Hello! My name is Nathan and I am an undergraduate, first study clarinettist at the Royal College of Music.
I started playing the clarinet when I was 8 years old and have now been playing for over 10 years. I have played in various orchestras around London and Essex as well as performing recitals and chamber music in Essex, Suffolk, Wales, Exeter and London. I have also played at the European Clarinet Festival in Italy in 2019 and in the Apricity Trio around the UK.
I have had 5 years teaching experience. I have been privately teaching 1-1 for 3 years teaching all ages and have volunteered at a local marching band in Essex since 2021, teaching children from age 7-16 at all levels! I am also DBS checked.

I tailor each lesson to the student to make sure you get the most out of each lesson since everyone learns in their own way!
I teach using the ABRSM exam board if grades are something your are interested in. Equally, I’m am just as happy to teach playing music just for fun!
Lesson lengths can vary to what is best for you! I teach all ages and beginner to grade 8 on clarinet. Music theory and sax, grades 1-5.
