About Eirene
I graduated with a BM in Voice Performance from the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN where I studied with distinguished professor Timothy Noble. In total, I have received classical voice lessons for 10+ years. In addition to classical voice training, I have also received instruction in jazz voice, cello, and piano. In 2022, I was the first place winner of the Oscar Hammerstein International Youth Solo Contest and performed at their Broadway Sings The Sounds of Hammerstein Gala event in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. For three years, I was a soprano in the internationally acclaimed NOTUS Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, and I recorded two choral albums with them. I have taught several private students as well as coached several students in musical theatre and choral auditions. I have performed professionally in musical theatre and film productions, and I am open to coaching acting as well. I received a 5 on my AP Music Theory exam and subsequently completed Music Theory 1-5 at the Jacobs School of Music, so I am confident tutoring that subject matter as well. In high school, I achieved All State Honors in both vocal jazz ensemble and choir. I also received a Student Downbeat Vocal Jazz Award in 2017. I have catered my career and music education to the music that feels most comfortable in my voice and that I genuinely enjoy performing. I hope to cater all my lessons with my students to their individual voices and music tastes, so that I can help them sing the music they want to and unlock their inner artist!

I believe all good, healthy singing has the same foundations of good breath and clarity of tone and approach all my lessons with those two concepts in mind. I have a strong background in Bel Canto technique and infuse all my lessons with knowledge from this important part of vocal pedagogy history. Finally, I believe that singing would not be singing without the text, so understanding the text and conveying message and interpretation of the text is vital in being a successful singer.
I will cater each of my lessons to the individual needs of each singer. I teach beginners all the way through undergraduate voice students.
