About Soren
Soren Davick is a professional double bassist who has played numerous times with the Madison Symphony Orchestra and currently plays with the Santa Rosa Symphony. Soren received his Master of Music and post-graduate degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with Scott Pingel, principal of the San Francisco Symphony. In his time at conservatory, Soren had the opportunity to perform multiple recitals and is extremely well versed in solo repertoire for the double bass. His time in conservatory and playing professionally with orchestras across the country have also given him plenty of experience working on orchestral excerpts and proper bow and left hand technique. Soren has had the privilege of sharing this knowledge with students at varying ages and levels of expertise for multiple years.
