About Maxime
From a young age, I got very passionate about classical guitar and started off at the age of 12. I formally commenced my music studies at the Regional Conservatory of Lyon, graduating with the highest distinction. Along with my instrument studies, I studied musicology graduating from the Saint-Étienne University. I finally moved to Belgium where I graduated my Bachelor in Music with high distinction from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
During my studies, I was teaching in public schools and also private guitar lessons. This experience provided the ideal platform to continue my music studies in Glasgow.

Hello,
My name is Maxime and I am 27 years old. I am currently pursuing my music studies in the Royal Conservatory of Scotland along with renowned professors Mr Allan Neave and Mr Matthew McAllister.
I teach classical guitar using scores, not tablatures. All students from the very first lesson use the instrument. My method with my students is to develop bases to approach a musical score through the knowledge of solfeggio and theory. I am able to teach in English and French.
I can travel throughout Glasgow Region.
