About Sasa
Hi there! My name is Saša (pronounced Sasha). I am a classical pianist with 20 years of performing experience and 5 years of teaching experience. I have been performing since early childhood, participating in various concerts and music competitions across Europe as both a soloist and a chamber musician. In 2021, I relocated to Squamish, Canada, where I have been living and teaching ever since. I graduated from University of Ljubljana, Academy of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance.
My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to explore their potential and express themselves through music. My dedication to my students extends beyond technical instruction; I am committed to nurturing their love for music and helping them achieve their personal best.

A typical lesson consists of technique study (scales, chords, arpeggios etc.), repertoire of your choice, sight-reading, theory, and ear training. Any lesson can be tailored to your own goals and needs!
I specialize in teaching classical music, but I also offer instruction on how to accompany yourself while singing or playing with other musicians without the need for sheet music. I regularly prepare students for music festivals, performances, and Royal Conservatory of Music exams, so I am well-versed in the classical repertoire.
