About Holly
I taught myself the piano up to the age of 13; my music teacher in school recognised my passion for music and put me forward for piano lessons. I went straight in at grade 5 and achieved my grade 8 by the end of year 11 - I believe that if you set your mind on a goal, it is almost always possible!
I have recently graduated from the Leeds Conservatoire, after 4 years of study, where I covered repertoire from the baroque period all the way through the impressionism and 20th century music.
Having been through piano grades myself, I know how stressful they can be. I want to make learning the piano as fun as possible!

I believe in a hands-on approach to teaching; we will set a goal, and when you want to achieve it by, and I will do everything in my power to get you there!
I can teach online via zoom using powerpoints to explain music theory and Synthesia Software so you can see exactly what keys I am playing for examples.
I have worked with GCSE music students in their performances and compositions and have taught vocal lessons to students of ages ranging 11-70.
My lessons can be for anyone - all you need is a passion for learning!
