About George
I am a first year student in Edinburgh, who has experience teaching Geography whilst still at school in lower level years. I have helped students during their National 5 History study, giving them helpful hints and tricks to help them understand how to answer the question in front of them, and what the different question types mean.

I am George, a student at Edinburgh university interested in a teaching career after I graduate. I give lessons to anyone studying a humanity subject (History, Geography, RMPS, English, Classical Studies etc) from First Year to National 5, and sometimes Higher depending on what you are needing help with and which subject i.e. Will teach up to Higher for History, Geography and RMPS, and National 5 for English and Classical Studies.
I ask what you are needing help with, and focus on your weaknesses to help strengthen them. I will need to know how best you work - do you need all the information first before having a go at past paper questions? Are you a methodical thinker; or are you a visual learner who needs bright colours and mind maps to help learn the information first, and then learn how to answer exam questions.
I do mainly focus on you learning the content first, and then being able to answer the exam questions as I believe that they come hand in hand, and if you know the information, then gaining marks is pretty straightforward, as most humanities questions answer structure, are common sense.
