About Charlene
I am a classically trained violinist of 12 years. I’ve been in several symphony orchestras, ranging from school level to county and statewide in the East Coast. I’ve been a part of chamber groups and have extensive solo repertoire in the classical genre. I have trained entry-level beginners in the informal setting, and received praise in my patience and guidance as a teacher.

In the years I’ve been playing the violin, I’ve always wanted to inspire others to pick up the instrument and give it a shot. In the beginning of my violin journey, I had an incredible teacher who helped me not only realize how incredible the violin could sound, but how incredible I myself could make it sound with some good instruction and motivation. With my passion for the instrument, music and teaching, along with patience, kindness and skill, I hope I can help start those steps, or continue them, into the beautiful journey that music is.
