About Elle
I have been giving private lessons for around 10 months now, to a total of four students. While this may not seem like many, the sessions have been focused, intensive and of immense value. My students have not yet sat formal government exams, but in their mocks they have either met or surpassed their current predicted grades, demonstrating their fantastic progress.

I am a first-year student at Durham University, and have tutored people from the ages of 10 to 16 (from SATs to GCSEs). My teaching style is very interactive and engaged, and I make sure I am communicating my knowledge in a way that the student finds beneficial. It would be futile to teach in a way that makes sense to me but not in one that makes sense to the student - so I can adapt my tutoring style so that it suits the needs of my student.

Details
I do not have a cancellation fee for lessons, as I understand that sometimes one can be faced with unavoidable obligations, and I also understand especially now (in a pandemic) that a student may need a break for reasons in relation to their well-being. I do not judge, and I won't charge for the aforementioned. Due to current COVID restrictions, I cannot offer tutoring in person ( and thus it will have to be conducted online) but once I can I will adjust my hourly rate accordingly.
