About Josie
I have not only achieved high grades in English GCSE and A Level myself, but have also been a teaching assistant in a Primary School, and taught Latin to a GCSE class. I am passionate about my subject, and would love to help inspire others to enjoy it as much as I do. My mother is a full time English teacher, and so I am very familiar with the subject as I have grown up with it. I am now doing a latin and ancient Greek degree at the University of Bristol.

I approach each topic by encouraging the student to inform me of their areas of weakness, before briefly explaining it to them, whilst allowing them to come to the answers on their own. I am a university student myself and so have recent experience of taking GCSEs and A levels, and so aim to help those taking GCSE or below. I will help with English literature, language and criticism. I want my lessons not only to be helpful, but also to be fun, as I want the student to be inspired by the subject more than anything else.
