About Carmela
Energy defines my studio space. Singing requires total honesty.
Having spent 13 years in the craft, I draw on my Berklee background to teach vocal health and care alongside phrasing. I support absolute beginners and adults as they find their natural head and chest voice. My lessons include rhythm work and belting technique that align with the Caribbean traditions I grew up with. You can expect a deep dive into the technical side of harmony singing while maintaining a relaxed environment for your growth.

Feedback should be rare but incredibly sharp. I do not believe in overloading you with technical jargon until you have actually heard the difference in your own sound. Drawing from my Berklee training and 13 years of experience, I provide a personalized song list built around each student's range to keep your vocal health in check. We will look at microphone technique and sight singing in a way that feels organic to your specific musical path.
Whether you are an adult learner or a beginner, the focus remains on your comfort and your unique expressive potential. It is about the music.
