About Leyla
I have been teaching since 1993. I am a certified Math and ESL teacher and I also teach college math. I have two master's degrees and also a doctorate. I love teaching math because I know many students are scared of math and I want to change that for them. I also love teaching English as a second language because I have been there myself and I know how hard it can be to learn a new language.

I connect the content to examples from daily life. This makes understanding complex subjects much easier. I also provide resources and access to my lessons on Google Classroom so that students can extend their learning.
I have experience teaching secondary and elementary levels as well as college level courses in English, ESL, Algebra, and test prep.
