About Elaine
I am a college English professor and private tutor. I teach English Composition, Reading, and Research Skills. I have been teaching/tutoring for over 20 years to all levels of students. Many of my students have gone on to private, elite high schools and colleges.

My teaching method is always student-centered. I use modeling to demonstrate the skills being taught and then the student practices the skills. I follow-up with constructive feedback but never in a harsh way. We continue until the student feels comfortable.
